The
Hot Rods Hockey Club were able to come away with a single point on Sunday night
from a 3-3 tie with the Bounty Hunters.
The
Bounty Hunters scored early in the first to take a 1-0 lead into the second
period. They scored again to make it 2-0 near the end of the second, but the
Rods were able to score three quick goals to take a 3-2 lead into the
third.
The
Bounty Hunters then tied the game with just over a minute left. In the
shootout, both teams were 1 for 3.
Tony
Schellenberg opened the scoring for the Hot Rods and Keith Pelletier scored the
other two, earning him the Amateur Stuntman of the Game Award!
