Hot Rods Summer Season Comes To An End

The Hot Rods Hockey Club suffered an unfortunate loss to the Smoked Salmons in their first Summer Playoff game, cutting short their bid for the '16 Summer NCHL Championship. The Rods went down 5-1 in the first period and could not climb back into it before the final buzzer.

This Summer season had a lot of ups and downs, but was always a good time to hang with buds and enjoy a few beers.

The 2016-17 Winter Season is set to begin early September. I will be setting up an ice time before the season starts to play some shinny and have a few laughs.

Playoffs for the Hot Rods start August 14 as they push for their first NCHL Championship!

Various people have earned the Amateur Stuntman of the Game Awards over the second half of the season.

Tayler got the Celly of the Year Award for blowing
a kiss to his girlfriend after scoring the first goal of his life!

Tony had a hell of a summer season leading the team in points.

John Barlow gets yet another ASOTG Award for hjis stellar play between the pipes.

Berk comes to one game and get the Shootout winner!!!!!

Andrew gets the worst idea ever award for not letting go of the rope while surfing.
The result is a spiral fracture, but at least it's not his "lovin" hand.....
