The Hot Rods Hockey Club dropped their third straight on
Saturday night losing 11-7 to the Crimson Tide. Fortunately for the Rods, the
game didn't mean anything as the Tide are moving up to Division 9. And no one
was looking at the scoreboard...... They were all in awe of the beautiful new
jerseys the Hot Rods were sporting this game.
John Barlow was solid and net, though the score wasn't a very accurate reflection of his play. He made some great saves but the Tide came in hard and fast and were tough to stop. The Hot Rods tried their best to start the comeback in the third period but came up short. Tom Hautzinger had two of the seven goals to earn himself the "Amateur Stuntman of the Game" Award.
